Rising Fawn Storm Shelter

 The second of three storm shelters in Dade County was assembled on Tuesday, March 29. The storm shelter is located next to the South Dade Community Center, on School Street in Rising Fawn. The shelters will provide shelter for 265 people each, and includes bathrooms and a shower. The shelter consists of four separate modular pieces, from Modular Construction LLC, out of Bessemer, Ala. The storm shelter will also have use as a community meeting room, and a voting precinct. The third storm shelter will be at Davis School Road in the Davis community.
