LINDA CLARK

Linda Fay Clark, 72, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Linda was born Aug. 5, 1949, to the late Charles and Edith Smith. She was a woman who helped everyone when she could. She had a very big heart and loved her kids, grandkids, and great-granddaughter with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Walter Clark; parents, Charles and Edith Smith; brothers, Billy, Wilburn, and Glenn Smith; sister, Betty Jo Geer.

Survivors include her daughter, Jaime Daniel; son, Tony Clark; grandchildren, Robin Hughes, Reanna Marr, Amber Clark, Micheal Clark, Damon Marr, and TJ Clark; great-granddaughter Brynlee Hughes and one on the way; sister, Ruby Ann Dobbins; brothers, Larry Smith and Jerry Smith; nieces and nephews.

WAYNE HORTON

Phillip Wayne Horton, 60, of Higdon, Ala., passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Wayne attended Lakeview High School and some college in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served from 1980 to 1984. He was a proud Marine and remained one throughout his life. He loved his family, was a proud grandfather and caregiver to his daughter, and liked tinkering to repair things.

Survivors include his daughter, Angela Horton; son, Anthony Fernandez; parents, Faye and Charles Buchanan; granddaughter, Alani Cruz; brothers, Ronald (Joy) Ramage, and Skyler (Cheri) Ramage; aunts, uncles and extended family.

A celebration of life was Wednesday, March 9 in the Ryan Funeral Home chapel. A plaque and his ashes were laid to rest at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

ESTHER REAVES

Esther Ellen Reaves, 84, of Trenton, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Esther was born on July 21, 1937 in Taylor County, Wis., to the late John and Martha Kowalski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Jim Reaves Sr.; son, John Marcel Reaves; siblings, Jerome Kowalski, Mable Speck and Alice Gregory.

Survivors include her daughters, Lori Bell of Trenton, Ethel “Ginger” Lewis (Wesley) of Sapulpa, Okla., and Elizabeth “Ellie” Dutton (Craig McClelland) of Springdale, Ariz.; son, James Allen Reaves Jr (Nikki) of Calhoun; sister, Caroline Taylor (Larry) of Weedsport, N.Y.; brother, Leslie Kowalski of Fort Myers, Fla.; sister-in-law, Marilyn Kowalski; 11 grandchildren; eight great-children; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are today, March 16 at 4 p.m., in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 p.m., until the service hour.
