GREG BALL

Gregory Alan Ball, 66, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, Jan.25, 2022.

Greg was born July 1, 1955, in Chicago, Ill. He was an exceedingly kind and generous man who tried to please everyone. His courage, strength and compassion were exceeded only by his love. There is not enough room in this obituary to explain just how good of a soul he was. The world is a lesser place without him.

Greg was preceded in death by his best friend, Marie Ball, and stepfather, Breland Smith.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Ball and Susan Ball; mother, Margaret Smith; father, Jerry (Georgianne) Ball; sisters, Pamela (Eddie) Pittman and Linda Ball; nephew, Aaron Smith.

GERTHA BOLTON

Gertha Mae Hartline Bolton, 81, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.

Mrs. Bolton enjoyed playing the piano at both Bryant Church of God and Mercy Temple Church where she was a member. She loved to garden and can vegetables for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Winferd and Verna Marie Laney Hartline; husband, John Bolton; daughter, Teresa Bolton Chamber; son, John Allan Bolton II; granddaughter, Brooke Clark.

Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Bolton, Jimmie Sue Holman (Ronnie), Priscilla Bethune (Jerry); daughter-in-law, Donna Bolton; son-in-law, Bobby Chambers; grandchildren, Tammy (Rodney), Selena (Mike), Melissa (Todd), Jeremy, Ashley (Jerry), Jerrett (Kari), Allan, Alex (Bryant), and Adri; great-grandchildren, Willow, Harper, Mason, Ryder, Emma, Joshua, Brayden, Brinlee, Rhett, and Liam; sisters, Joyce Bolton, Nadine Michaels, June Rake (Volker), Sherry Bethune (Dee), Wendy Adkins (Chub); nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Jan. 5 at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Reggie Byrum and Bro. Thomas Bearden officiating. Internment was in Fuller Cemetery.

MICHAEL CZARICK JR.

Michael Czarick Jr., 87, passed away Wednesday, Jan.12, 2022.

He was born in McAdoo, Pa., and made his home in Rising Fawn since 2002. Michael worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 45 years, living in Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, and Georgia over the course of his career. Since his retirement in 2000, he and Patricia enjoyed travel, and volunteering with Optimist Club, WTCI, and Friends of Cloudland Canyon. Michael was an avid outdoorsman, loved gardening, spending time with his family, and walking his dog, Pumpkin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Catherine (Kluscavage) of McAdoo, Pa.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Patricia (Norman); daughters, Lisa Sibley and Alison Coker and husband Timothy; sons Michael and wife Karen (Young) and Matthew and wife Christine (Hanson); grandchildren, Forrest, Taft, Adams, Jackson, Mary-Corley, Pendleton, Katherine, Elizabeth, Michael, and Matthew (Tucker); nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 22 at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.

ADEANA HARDIN

Adeana Gail Hardin, 65, of Rossville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.

She was born July 20, 1956, in Whiltshire, England to the George and the late Betty Jo Holder. Adeana was a military wife of 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was an excellent cook.

In addition to her mother, Adeana was preceded in death by her son, Christopher A Hardin.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Wayne Hardin; sons, Jason (Heather) Hardin and Jared Hardin; father, George Holder; sisters, Brenda Maxson and Nyana (Bruce) Duck; five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m., in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Romain officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bryant, Ala.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 4 from 4–8 p.m., and on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

GLENDA LACKEY

Glenda F. Lackey, 73, of Trenton, passed away Thursday, Jan.27, 2022.

Glenda was born April 28, 1948, in Henagar, Ala., to the late Sam and Bea Lackey. She was a beloved sister and aunt who love to take care of all her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her dear friend, Polly Cox; sister, Mary Emmaline Johnson; and brother, Charles Lackey.

Survivors include her sister, Nina Carter; brothers, James (Dean) Lackey and Thomas (Mildred) Lackey; nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will he held for her family at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
