BILLY BELUE
Billy Ray Belue, 58, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022.
He was of the Baptist faith and was employed in construction for most of his life.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Alvin Belue and sisters, Juanita Lynn Ford and Karen Michelle Belue.
Survivors include his mother, Gertrude D. Belue; brothers, Jerry Lee Belue, James Dwight Belue, and Robert Dewayne Belue, all of Bryant, Ala.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 20 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steve Townson officiating. Interment was in Porter Cemetery.

EDNA BETTIS
Edna Jo Bettis, 102, of Lookout Mountain, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.
Mrs. Bettis was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Rome to the late Charlie and Leila Brown and had spent most of her life in the Birmingham, Ala., and Chattanooga, Tenn., areas. She attended the Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church, enjoyed bowling and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Powers in November, 2021, and seven siblings.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Bobbie J. Powers of Lookout Mountain; grandsons, Eric (Laura) Powers, and Henry “Hank” (Brecca) Powers; eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 29 at noon in the Chapel of Devotion at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Melissa Spires officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

MICHAEL BRADFORD
Michael Ray Bradford, Sr., 63, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2022.
Michael was of the Baptist faith and was employed as a billboard printer for Vincent Printing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Bobbie Jean Wilson Bradford.
Survivors include his daughter, Melinda (Pat) Morrison; son, Michael Ray Bradford; sister, Charlotte Fry, all of Bryant, Ala.; brother, Tommy (Mary Ann) Bradford, Henagar, Ala.; grandchildren, Ashley and Christopher Clark, and DeKota and Robert Ashburn; nieces and nephews.

ALAN DOYLE
Alan R. Doyle, 60, a lifelong resident of Wildwood passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022.
Alan was born on July 17, 1961, to Anthony and Anna Mae Doyle. He accepted Christ in 1997, was a member of East Brainerd Baptist Church, and was employed with Frito-Lay for 22 years.
In addition to his parents, Alan is survived by his wife, Mary E. Usry Doyle; daughters, Ginger (Mike) Ferguson, Shana (Mitchell) Varnell, and Phalan Ralin Doyle; step-sons, Chris and Steven Moore; several grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 21 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Barber officiating. Interment was in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.

NELL HALE
Nell Blevins Hale, 78, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022.
Mrs. Hale was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church in Rossville and was employed as a caregiver for home health.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rich and Roxie Young Blevins; husband, David Hicks; brothers, Olen, Cleve, and R.M. Blevins; sisters, Geneva Bearden and Mary Sue Stephens.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Scott) Apuli of Trenton and Anita (Doug) Blaylock, Chickamauga; son, Corbin (Yvonne) Sneed of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister, Faye Oliver, Ooltewah, Tenn.; grandchildren, Nicole DeBerry, Cody Guger, Joseph DeMary, Amanda Songer, and Chelsie Gibson; great-grandchildren, Haedyn Guger, Ryelnd Guger, Kinzlee Gibson, Brody Gibson, Brynleigh DeBerry, Krisily Songer, Callie Songer, and Colden Songer; nieces and nephews.

LOIS HUGHES
Lois Ann Hughes, 71, of Flat Rock, Ala., passed away Sunday, Jan. 23 2022.
She was born Sept. 3, 1950, to the late Willis and Birthel (Thurmond) Brown. Lois enjoyed her cats, cooking, sewing, and other crafts. She attended Payne Gap Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, James Hughes; sisters, Kayellen and Melisa Brown.
Survivors include her daughters, Leeann (Richard) Cagle, Gloria (Wayne) Durham, Paula (Jeff) Schneider, Kendra (Edgar) Brown, and Tammy Hancock; son Burkett (Pamela) Black; 12 grandchildren, Zachary Cagle, Levi Cagle, Brock Cagle, Colton Lane Black, Charles Matthew Stone, Erin Brown, Cason Durham, Aletha Shelton, Keisha Guffey, Chris Jones, Pamela Plemons, and Brandon Jones; 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be today, January 26 at noon at Payne Gap Cemetery with Pastor Ertie Veal officiating.
The family will receive friends before the service from 9–11:30 a.m., at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton.

DOC KINSEY
Doyce Eugene “Doc” Kinsey, 67, Of Bryant, Ala., passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022.
He was born Nov. 21, 1954, to Louise Brown and the late Arthur E. Kinsey. Doc proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Leeray Kinsey.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sue Kinsey; mother, Louise Brown; step-son, Chad Garrett; sisters, Virgina Blansit and Darana Tipton; brother, Jeff Kinsey; and step-grandchildren, Conner and Colby Garrett.
Funeral services were in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 19 with Brother Chad Garrett officiating. Interment was at Straightway Baptist Cemetery.

LEE POWELL
Larry Lee Powell, 58, of New Salem, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.
Lee was a perfect example of a husband, father, leader and friend. He was a hard-working man and was always willing to help others. Lee had a huge heart for people, was very humble and meant a lot to a lot of different people. He loved drag racing, Chevrolet cars and deer hunting. Lee’s smile and laugh will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Powell; sister, Ellen McBee; brother in-law, Michael McBee.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Renae Powell; daughters, Leeola (Aaron) Raines, EmmaLee Powell and Audrey Powell; father, Larry Powell; sister, Joy (Billy) Wooten; and brother, David Wayne “Tuck” (Reana) Powell.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 25.

HELEN WILLIAMS
Helen Rose Williams, 58, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022.
She was born in Jacksonville, Fla., on May 17, 1963, to Lula Maie and the late William Thomas Fowler. Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Thomas Fowler.
Survivors include her husband 25 years, Charles Williams; daughters, Amber Patterson and Holly Stewart; mother, Lula Maie Fowler; sister, Ruth Anne Fowler; brother, Donald Fowler; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 22 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Goins officiating. Burial was in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
