Ribbon Cutting

Alliance for Dade members, county officials, Hope House Café workers, and A Hand UP Ministry members held a ribbon cutting for the new Hope House Café on Friday, Jan. 14. “We are just thrilled to be able to be here today. This was a dream. God did a good thing. We give him all the glory,” A Hand UP Ministry founder Rex Mayo said. “There is a wonderful restaurant here. I have tasted their morsels; they’re great. The greater thing is the ministry that is being provided here,” Dade County Commissioner Robert Goff said. Hope House Cafe is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds help A Hand UP Ministry.
