ANDI BILLINGS

Andi Parker Billings, 40, of Rising Fawn, passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.

Andi was born on Dec. 18, 1980, in Stevenson, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nickie Billings.

Survivors include her sons, Christian Parker, Sky and Shylo Billings; step-daughters, Kiana and Jazanace Billings; brother, Adam Gilbert; mother, Cathy Parker; aunts and uncles.

BRENDA BLACK

Brenda Breedlove Black, 71, of East Ridge, Tenn., passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

Brenda was a graduate of Kirkland High School and Jones County Junior College. She was Church of God by faith. Brenda grew up in Chattanooga, Tenn., and later moved to Mississippi where she became an LPN working in hospitals. She returned to Chattanooga in 1989 and worked in home health for a total of 35 years of service. After retiring, she enjoyed managing Marion County Park and spending time with family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Opal May Breedlove, and brother, Sylvie Breedlove.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Harold Gene Black Jr.; sons, Gene “Pete” (Connie) Black of Rossville, Robert, Brian and Elvin Black of East Ridge, Tenn.; sisters, Linda Combs and Benita Long of Sand Mountain; grandchildren, Delane, Issac and Melia Black, Morgan and Heather Frank; step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Moore Funeral Home. Interment was in Shantytown Cemetery.

CHARLES CLOUD

Charles Cloud, 59, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Bryant, Ala., passed away Oct. 21, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mary Cloud, and son, Jake Cloud.

Survivors include his son, Noah Cloud; wife, Sherri Cloud; sister, Verna Cloud; brother, Ricky Cloud;

A memorial service was Nov. 16 at Bryant Free Holiness Church.

 

WANDA HARTLINE

Wanda Lucille Hartline, 86, of Cloudland, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021.

She was a faithful member of New Salem Baptist Church until her health began to fail. Miss Wanda was a resident of Dade County in the Head River Community for 62 years, where she and her husband raised their children and many bountiful gardens. She worked many years, Peerless Woolen Mill, E.T. Barwick, Roper Corporation where she retired, then to Shaw to work and retire again.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Martin Hartline; sons, Kenneth Martin “Bo” Hartline and Boyd Lee Hartline; parents, Albert and Pauline Chapman; sister and brother–in–law, Jackie and Robert Autwell; brothers and sister–in–laws, Wallace and Doramae Chapman and Nolan and Luella Chapman.

Survivors include her daughter and son–in–law, Loretta and Larry Roper; son and daughter–in–law, Dennis and Janet Hartline; granddaughters, Lori (Jason) Perry; Heather Leigh Simmons (fiancé Stephen); sister–in–laws, Dorothy Hartline Maxwell and Yvonne Hartline; Teresa Hartline, Boyd Lee (Missy) Hartline, Jr., and Boyd Lee Hartline III; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be today, Nov. 17 at New Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Hixon and Brother James Gibson officiating. Interment will be at Little River Cemetery, Mentone, Ala.

The family will receive friends today from 10–11 a.m., at New Salem Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be DeWayne Autwell, Howard Autwell, Ricky Autwell, Clifford Hartline, John Hartline, Jason Perry, and Stephen Jacobs.

KRIS HOLT

Kris Holt, age 58, of Chickamauga, passed away on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021.

He was preceded in death by parents, Jack H. and Joyce Mae Holt; and brother, Perry Holt Sr.

Survivors include his brothers, Alan Holt and Neal Holt; nephews, Jason Holt, Perry Holt Jr., Christopher Holt, Neal Holt Jr., and Alan Walker; nieces, Beth Lusk, Heather Holt and Danielle Hunt.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 12 at Moore Funeral Home. Interment was in Lake Memory Gardens West in Lookout Valley, Tenn.

LEEA ABIGAIL RAINES

Leea Abigail Raines, 23, born to Starla Hixson and Donald Raines on Oct. 2, 1998 in Dalton, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2021.

Leea grew up full of life; dancing and joking around loving how she could make others laugh. She loved to sing, write poems and pour out her heart as an artist loving to draw while listening to her music. Leea was a beautiful, sweet, young lady full of love. She loved aggravating and playing jokes and spending time with her “Pappaw.”

Leea was preceded in death by her mother, Starla Hixson; grandmother, Susan Hixson of Rossville, and grandfather, Floyd Lee Raines of Chattanooga, Tenn.

Survivors include her father, Donnie Raines of Rockwood, Tenn.; brother, Brandon Raines (Army); grandfather, Billy Hixson of Rossville.

Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 14 at Moore Funeral Home with Brother Randy Tinker officiating. Family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support and ask for your continued prayers to follow.

CASSIE WILBANKS

Cassie Faye Wilbanks, 68, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

She attended Kelly’s Ferry Church of God and loved reading her Bible and coloring.  Cassie was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Wilbanks; son, Danny Eugene Wilbanks; parents, Luther and Emma Padgett; sisters Cozette Padgett, Lorena; brothers, Royal, Kenneth, John, Otis, Othell and Lonnie Padgett

Survivors include her son, Eric (Dani) Wilbanks; daughter, Marchele (Eric) Layne; grandchildren, Elijah Layne, Logan Wilbanks, Landon Wilbanks, Anna Layne, Emma Wilbanks; sisters, Maybelle (David) Collins, Edna Kirkland, Louise Wooten.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Moore Funeral Home with Brother Mike Williams officiating. Interment was in Unity Cemetery, Sylvania, Ala.
