LEE CLARK

Lee Clark of Bryant, Ala., passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Hewas born on March 11, 1944 to the late Grady and Louise Clark. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran. He loved his grandkids and his great-granddaughter very much. He was a friend to many and will dearly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Louise Clark; brothers, Johnny, Billy, and Tommy Clark; sisters, Barbra Hill and Ruby Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Clark; brother, Jimmy Clark; sisters, Wanda Whipkey and Naomi Chandler; son, Tony Clark; daughter, Jaime Daniel; grandkids, Robin (Cobie) Hughes, Reanna Marr, Amber Clark, Micheal Clark, Damon Marr, and TJ Clark; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Hughes; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

LEWIS CUTSHALL

Lewis Cutshall, 83, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

He was retired from Ring-Con Corporation after many years of service.  He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Grace Cutshall; daughter, Rebecca Cutshall.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Barbara Cutshall of Trenton; children, Ronald (Terri) Cutshall of Trenton; Karen (Duane) Claassen of Grundy Center, Iowa; Vicky (Ryan) Lucas of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Tom (Amy) Cutshall of Trenton; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Cutshall; and sister, Laurel Rhode; nieces.

Private graveside services were Monday, June 14 at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

JOHN JOHNSON

John Leonard Johnson, 77, of Trenton, passed away Monday June 21, 2021.

John loved playing his guitar, watching cowboy movies, country music, hunting, fishing and collecting hats. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his great grandson, Xander Miller; brother, Bob Johnson; uncle, Louis Campbell; cousin, Gary Campbell; uncles and aunts.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Vanice Johnson; sons, Warren (Ginger) Johnson, Eric Johnson; sister, Luann Pederson; eight grandchildren and two great–grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., today, June 23, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Lonnie Denny officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

MURPHY LEDBETTER

Murphy Daniel Ledbetter, 82, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great–grandfather and a friend to many and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Ledbetter; parents, Emmett and Rader Ledbetter; brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Ruby (Steve) Vaughn; granddaughter, Brittany Vaughn; grandson, Travis (Ivett) Vaughn; great–granddaughter, Vivien Vaughn; sister, Dolly (Gordon) Dykes; special friend, Bobby Forester; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Sunday, June 20 at Ebenezer Cemetery with Brother Wayne Winters officiating.

EDWARD MCGEE

Edward Lloyd McGee, of Trenton, formerly of Ooltewah, Tenn., born Sept. 18, 1953, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021.

Ed was a godly man, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He was an avid hunter, enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his garden. Ed was a Castrol oil salesman, CPR trainer, and certified mine safety MSHA trainer.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd; mother, Edna McNabb McGee; and wife, Kathleen Chastain McGee, who he was married to from 1973 to 2006.

Ed is survived by his wife, Cheryl McGee; daughter, Tracey (Ben Futransky) McGee; son, Brandon McGee; stepdaughter, Hannah (Jarrod) Justice; sisters, Kathy LaShawn (Edward) Carroll, and Sharon (Gerry) Benson; grandchildren, Jase, Graham, and Callie; nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were Tuesday, June 22 at Moore Funeral Home, Trenton.

ANDREW QUARLES

Andrew “Andy” Quarles, 88, of Lookout Valley, Tenn., passed away Friday, June 18, 2021.

Mr. Quarles was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Combustion Engineering following 40 years of service. A member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church, Andrew enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time with his family, and going to the mall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Frances Quarles; brothers, Gearl, Garlon, and Orbie Lee Quarles; sister, Ellon Quarles, and son-in-law, Ed Krantz.

Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Rachel Louise Quarles; daughter, Melinda Krantz, Wray, Colo.; son, Greg (Cindy) Quarles, Georgetown, Tenn.; grandchildren, Kara (Thomas) Barnett, Cecilia Jones, Taylor Krantz, Amber (Travis) Worley, Lucretia Breedlove and Waylon Breedlove; great-grandchildren, Kaedyn Worley, Levi Worley, and Maren Barnett.

Funeral services will be today, June 23 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Troy Walliser officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West.

CORINNE RUSHING

Corinne Rushing, 81, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that truly showed her love to her children and grandchildren. She had a servant’s heart, serving the Lord and those people around her that were in need. Corinne attended Kelly Ferry Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lemuel Bogle; parents, Pauline and James A. Taylor; son, Phillip Rushing; two sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Joe F. Rushing; daughters, Connie (Stefon) Davis, Tammy (Don) Morgan; sons, Tommy Rushing, Jackie (Debbie) Rushing; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters; five brothers; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Friday, June 18 in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Taylor and Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Interment was in Whitt Cemetery.

TERESA SMITH

Teresa Grace Smith, 66, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Teresa was of the Baptist faith

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Smith, and her parents, Ed and Louise Jordon Rigsby.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Henegar of Trenton; grandchildren, Dalton and Edie Henegar and Harley Crawford; great-grandchild, Connor Henegar; brother, Harold Rigsby; two nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 19th in the funeral home chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Cantrell officiating.  Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
