ED BATY

Charles Edward “Ed” Baty, 72, of Trenton, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021.

Ed attended the Rising Fawn Church of God and was employed by Modern Industries of Chattanooga (Leggett & Platt).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Jewel Baty.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Veronica Bain Baty; children, Starla (Joe) Graves of Warner Robins and Robin Shrader of Trenton; grandchildren, Britney Graves (fiance’ D.J. Lutjen), Courtney Graves, and Conner Shrader; great-grandchildren, Kali Joe Shute and Brooklyn Ray Lutjen; brothers, Billy (Debbie) Baty, and Rickey (Max Mitchell) Baty; nieces, Jennifer and Tessica; nephew, Colby.

Funeral services were Thursday, May 20 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ryan Bain and Bro. Chris Hagler officiating. Interment was in Bankhead Cemetery, Mentone, Ala.

WILLIAM MCCOOL

William Eugene “Tiny” McCool, 91, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Mr. McCool was a member of Avondale Baptist Church, attended Central High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Naval Reserve. He was employed with Southern Railway and retired from T.V.A. following 35 years of service. Bill was a member of C.E.R.A., volunteered with B.V.I., and enjoyed picture framing, camping, boating, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded him in death by his parents, Clarence Wheeler and Daisy Celeste Bryant McCool; wife, Betty Faye Justice McCool; sons, Christopher Alan McCool and Dennis Edward Delozier; siblings, Irma Lee McCool and William Harry McCool.

Survivors include his granddaughters, Angela McCool of Lookout Mountain and Michelle (Jason) Allman of Sand Mountain; grandson, Dennis (Jayme) Newell; great-grandchildren, Katie, Nate, Corbin, Caleb, Ellie, Clay, Blake and Bailey; great-great-grandchildren, Laken and Oakley Faye.

A Celebration of Life service will be Monday, June 7 at 6 p.m., in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Highlander officiating. Military honors will be given.

RICKEY PARKER

Rickey Parker, 62, of Lookout Valley, Tenn., passed away Friday, May 14, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Land and Stella Parker.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Tammy Parker; children, Shane (Stacy) Clark, Ralph Parker, Scott (Amy) Clark, Richard (Whitney) Parker and Rockey (Sheena) Parker; grandchildren, Miguel, Noah, Autumn, Drake, Ladybug, Christopher, Ashley, Katydid, Shay, Everleigh Rose, Trent, Georgia, and Asa; great-grandchildren, Ava Grace and Karli; brother, Jerry Parker; sisters, Sybil and Brenda Williams; nieces & nephews.

SANDY SANFORD

Sandy (Mawmaw Sunshine) Sanford, of Rising Fawn, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021.

She was a loving wife, mother, mawmaw, and friend to many. She was a member of Rising Fawn Holiness Church having served the Lord faithfully for over 48 years. She loved singing old gospel songs with her family, with her most requested songs being “There Will Be a Payday” and “Victory is Sweet (Great Band of Angels)”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryant and Charlotte Finlayson.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Bill Sanford; children, Stacy and Paulette Sanford, Shelley and Chad Cooper, Dolan and Jennifer Sanford, Mollie and Ray Coffey, Joseph and Juliah Sanford; grandkids, Jarrett, Madison, Sierra, Dawson, Wesley, Addison, Allie Kate, Karsyn, Isabella, Rayleigh Jo, and Braunson; siblings, Micah and Glenn Kerby, Mark and Debbie Finlayson, Kenny Finlayson, Jari and Ricky Hughes, Scott and Amy Finlayson, Rod and Fiona Finlayson, Carma and Wayne Johnson, Jason and Marquita Finlayson; sister-in-law, Trudy Freeman; nieces and nephews.

BLONN STEWART

Eula Blonn Stewart, 91, of Trenton, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021.

She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Stewart; parents, Luther and Fannie Bodenhamer, five brothers and eight sisters.

Survivors include her brother, Wayne Bodenhamer; niece, Ann (Michael) Murray; nephew, Ray (Margaret) Bodenhamer; several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be today, May 26 at 1 p.m., in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Chris Hagler officiating. Interment will follow at Bryant Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
