K9 Honored At Funeral

K9 Handler Trey Williams, with the Trenton Police Department, carries the ashes of K9 Ivo into Trenton City Hall, as other K9 dogs and officers lined up. Deputy Hailey Smith looks on with a folded American flag. Ivo’s funeral was on Friday, April 16, held jointly by the Trenton Police Department and the Dade County Sheriff’s Office. Ivo’s original handler was Eric Hartline, who is now a Dade County Officer. Ivo’s End of Watch was March 30, 2021. Ivo served the Trenton Police Department since 2017.
