County Executive Ted Rumley reads a proclamation on Friday, Feb. 26, designating Feb. 19 as Arbor Day. Two red maple trees were planted behind the Dade County High School in recognition of Arbor Day. The trees were planted in honor of Ms. Sells, who was an original founder of the local Tree City USA organization. The trees were planted at the high school because the Sells family originally had property that is now in the general location of the high school.
