The first fire occurred on Montague Street at a vacant building in Trenton at around 10:30 p.m. The building was fully engulfed in flames and saw Trenton, West Brow, North Dade, New Salem and Davis Volunteer Fire Departments respond to the scene.
Almost two hours after the first fire was called in, a second structure fire was reported at 1700 New Home Loop. South Dade Fire and Rescue, New Home Fire Department, Trenton-Dade County Fire, West Brown Fire and Rescue, Davis Volunteer Fire Department, North Dade Volunteer Fire Department, Catoosa Fire Department and Hamilton County Rehab Unit were all on scene at the fire. The residents exited the burning home before authorities arrived. The scene was finally cleared about six hours later.
