CHERYL GRAY

Cheryl Annette Gray, 60, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and sister who was proud of her kids. Her sense of humor was contagious and she enjoyed making people laugh. She was a member of Trenton First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Jimmy Campbell and her father-in-law, Kenneth W. Gray, Sr.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Kent Gray; daughter, Autumn Gray and her boyfriend Andrew Sarjant; son, Kenneth Wayne “Trey” Gray III; mother-in-law, Mary L. Gray; sister, Lynn Campbell Hixon (Dwight); nephews, Jay and Cory Hixon.

Graveside services were Friday, Sept. 4 at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Brother Eddie Cantrell officiating.

The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Hospice of Chattanooga for their care of Cheryl during her last days.

STEVEN HICKS

Steven Marvin Hicks, 59, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2020. He was a fun loving person who cared for his family deeply.  He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Clark.

Survivors include his parents, G.W. and Annie Hicks; sisters, Emma Jones and Diane Morrow; brothers, Kenneth and Ernie Hicks;

Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 3 in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Lonnie Denny officiating. Interment was in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

LILLIE WOOTEN HUMPHREY

Lillie Catherine Humphrey, 66, of Trenton, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2020.

She was a member of Harris Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Tim D. Humphrey; daughter, Selina Stevens; son, Keith Ray (Dianne) Goolesby; grandchildren, Kara Steele, Garron Steele, Starla Goolesby, and Timothy Goolesby; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Sadie Hicks and Edith Pangle; brothers, Leroy Wooten, Kenneth Wooten, Earl Wooten; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 4 in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Tim Renshaw and Brother Keith Goolesby officiating. Burial was in Payne Gap Cemetery.

JIMMIE TOWNSON

Jimmie Rafford Townson, 82, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2020.

Jimmie passed a month before his eighty-third birthday on Oct. 2. He was saved, baptized, and became a member of Straightway Baptist Church in July 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Virgie Townson; three brothers, Kenneth (Martila), Freeman (Betty) and Royce Ray Townson; sisters, Reba (Lee) Manson, Lottie (Charles) Douglas, and Judy Knight; brothers–in–law, Wes Kennemore and Royce Cloud.

Survivors include sisters, Elva Townson, Mavis Kennemore, and Betty Cloud; brother Jerry (Vicky) Townson; sister-in-law, Ruth Townson; brother–on–law, Tim Knight; nieces, nephews, great–nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.

A special thank you goes out to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Encompass Health for their care and dedication during his last days.

Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 3 in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Gary Bone officiating. Pallbearers were Ed McCloud, Chris Floyd, Justin Lloyd, Malcom Kennemore, Germi Cloud, and Tim Knight. Interment was in Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

ANDREW WHITED

Willie Andrew Whited, 78, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020.

He was a loving family man and of the Baptist faith.

Andrew was preceded in death by his wife, Monek Whited; step-son Matt Gaddis; grandson, Joshua Whited; parents, Gordon and Rachel Whited; sister, Doris Whitehead; and brother, Hershel Whited.

Survivors include his partner, Sandy Payne; daughter, Arquella Whited; sons, Corvan (Sherry) Whited, Craig Whited, Willie Whited, and Count Whited; grandchildren, Autumn and Ben Neill, Corrie and Gaige Terrell, Nick and Hanah Talley, Nathan and Ciara Whited, Jordan and Courtney Talley, Danielle and Brandon Avant, and Cheyenne Whited; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Sam and Nelda Whited, Louise and Dean Allison, Ernie and Linda Whited, Don and Pat Whited, Manuel and Connie Whited; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 5 in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Sam Whited officiating. Interment was in Whited Cemetery.

TIMOTHY WILLIAMS

Timothy Ray “Fireball” Williams, 55, of Rising Fawn, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020.
He was a loving father and best Popa ever.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Williams; grandparents, Horace and Ellie Carrell and Hubert and Edith Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kim Williams; daughters, Meagan and Hannah Williams; grandchildren, Kayden and Kiley; mother, Elaine Carrell Williams of Higdon, Ala.; brothers, Mark Williams of Higdon, Ala., and Phillip Williams of Valley Head, Ala.; nieces and nephews; close friends, Mike and Sylvia Crane.

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 4, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Bearden officiating. Interment was in Hanna Cemetery.
