Runoff 2020: Jayne Griffin wins School Board, Marjorie Greene ahead of John Cowan, Mike Cameron beats out John Deffenbaugh

Creative Discovery Museum Director Dr. Jayne Griffin received 1,041 votes to opponent Brooke Wilson’s 634 votes.

A total of 1,434 votes were cast for the At-Large School Board position, with Griffin winning 62% of the vote.

The U.S. State House of Representatives District 1 race saw Mike Cameron beat out opponent Jeff Deffenbaugh. Here are the voting totals:

Dade: Cameron – 972 | Deffenbaugh – 782 

Walker: Cameron – 1,488 (57.7) | Deffenbaugh – 1,091 

Marjorie Greene leads the results for the State House of Representatives District 14 race. Greene has more votes in every county except for Chattooga. Here are the voting totals by county:

Dade: Greene – 1,081 | Cowan – 703  

Walker: Greene – 3,509 | Cowan – 2,437 

Catoosa: Greene – 4,218 | Cowan – 2,616 

Whitfield: Greene – 783 | Cowan – 496 

Murray: Greene – 4,632 | Cowan – 1,497

Chattooga: Greene – 1,575  | Cowan – 1,590 

Gordon: Greene – 2,857 | Cowan – 2,604

Polk: Greene – 2,293 | Cowan – 1,936

Paulding: Greene – 7,702 | Cowan – 5,445
