Dade County Chief Executive, other Commissioners test positive for COVID-19 antibodies

Dade County Chief Executive Ted Rumley announced Monday, May 11 at the Administrative Building that he, Commissioner Lamar Lowery and Commissioner Allan Bradford tested positive in a COVID-19 antibody test.

 

Commissioner Robert Goff also tested positive Wednesday, May 13.

 

Rumley said that he was tested Monday morning at the Lafayette Civic Center and likely had COVID-19 at some point. However, Rumley said he was told that those who test positive for the antibody are not contagious and likely will not encounter the virus again.
