GLADYS DUVALL

Gladys Mahan Duvall, 81, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Mrs. Duvall was a grandma and great-grandma to many children, was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a graduate of Dade County High School. She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, working puzzles, photography, and volunteering with the Dade County Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Duvall, Sr.; son, David Duvall, Jr.; parents, Fred and Edith Mahan; brother, Freddie Mahan.

Survivors include her children, Steve (Chieko) Duvall of Salem, Ore., Paula Duvall, Trenton, and Mary Ann (Tommy) Bradford of Rising Fawn; daughter-in-law, Candy Duvall; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 5, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Ware officiating. Interment was in Payne Cemetery.

PAMELA KIRKPATRICK

Pamela “Pam” Jean Kirkpatrick, 68, of Bryant, Ala., passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Pam was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Family was the center of her world, and she spent her life putting the needs of others before her own.

She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Kirkpatrick, parents, Dewitt and Sue Leonard.

She is survived by her children, Jason (Angela) Kirkpatrick and Amy (Jeff) Saylors; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Kirkpatrick; sister, Deb Leonard; grandchildren, Blake (Ashton) Saylors, Kelsi (Noah) Dawson, Kali, Brenley, Kinsley, Brodie, and Alexia Kirkpatrick.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., ET today, July 9, in the Bryant chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother Steve Townson and Brother Wayne Winters officiating. Interment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m., until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moore Funeral Home to help the family with Pam’s final expenses.

KATHY RISBRIDGER

Kathy Risbridger, 77, of Trenton, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.

She was born July 10, 1947 in Oakland, Calif., to the late Thayne and Omie Wilder.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Ian Risbridger.

Survivors include her children, Bret (Amie) Culberg, and Matthew (Staci) Culberg; step-son, Richard Risbridger (Emily Bangham); brothers, Jeffrey and Douglas Wilder; grandchildren, Rebecca, Caitlyn, Andrew, William, Samantha, and Callie.

Memorial services will be Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 1:30 p.m., at Hope Church, 81 Hall Lane, Trenton.
