Senator Colton Moore (53rd district) and three other senators came under investigation by the State Ethics Commission earlier this spring for failing to report campaign contributions and expenses. (See the March 12 Sentinel.)
After the commission met in early June, Moore signed a consent order, agreeing that he did fail to file his financial information on time. Moore agreed to pay $500 in fees and penalties.
At this time, the commission has not shared further details about Moore’s campaign contributions or personal financial holdings. The consent order and fees pertain only to the failure to meet the deadline.
