Mingle on the Square is returning for the 2025 season with some exciting updates and adjustments. The events will be every week this year, with the first one coming up on April 26, and the team is looking for vendors, farmers/gardeners, musicians, volunteers, and sponsors.

Currently, there isn’t a deadline to sign up for one of these roles, but the organizers are eager to start filling up the slots. They’re looking for bakers, artisans, and gardeners. Just about anything you make or grow could be sold at the market. Think along the lines of soaps, candles, jewelry, flowers, jams, honey, cookies, produce, paintings, quilts, pottery, furniture, baskets, and clothing.

The organizers are also searching for musicians to provide live entertainment and volunteers to help with various parts of the event. Community sponsors are also an important part of making the event a reality.

Also, two vendor orientation classes are being offered at the Dade County Public Library on March 22 and March 29, both from 10-11 a.m. These sessions will help vendors make the most of the event. Whether you’ve been a vendor before with limited success or you’re new to the market scene, these classes hope to prepare you for a successful season at Mingle on the Square.

If interested in becoming a vendor, musician, volunteer, or sponsor, call Lori Carter at 423-838-3626 or email lulalakefarmersmarket@yahoo.com.

Stay tuned for more details about the new developments with the event.
