Hideaway At Whisperhills Open House, Ribbon Cutting

On the evening of July 25, Reese and Jayne Griffin held an open house for their new Airbnb, The Hideaway at Whisperhills, during which Alliance for Dade did a ribbon cutting and Will and Amy Garrett led a blessing of the home. It was built next to the Griffin’s home by Jayne’s mother at the age of 90 after her home burned. The couple is eager to share their peaceful Byrds Chapel land (purchased by Jayne’s parents in 1969) with visitors to Dade County. She said, “My dad started the chamber of commerce, so for the Alliance to do this ribbon cutting is really full circle and meaningful for my father’s memory.”
