FLO CASTLEBERRY
Flora “Flo” Lee Castleberry, 88, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024.
Flo was born Oct. 17, 1935, to the late Jess and Estelle Anderson Lynn. She was a well-known and talented seamstress who served the tri-state area for many years. She excelled in alterations and crafting a variety of garments ranging from baby clothes to wedding dresses, prom dresses, cheerleading outfits, band uniforms, and much more. However, beyond her professional accomplishments, Flo was known for her unconditional love as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her family held a special place in her heart, especially her son Dink.
Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Castleberry; siblings, Imagean Thompson, Lynn Clark, James Lynn, and Junior Lynn.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Powell; sons, Ricky Castleberry, Jimmy Castleberry, Dink Castleberry, and Chuck (Tina) Castleberry; brother, Scott (Tina) Lynn; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; along with severl extended family members.
Funeral services were Monday, April 1, in the Trenton chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Robby Dunn officiating. Interment was at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

JANIE DAGNAN
Janie Lee Dagnan, 83, of Whiteside, Tenn., passed away Monday, April 1, 2024.
Janie was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Kenneth “K.D.” and Gladys Ford Massengale and was raised in Lookout Valley, Tenn. She was a devoted homemaker and caregiver to her family and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jackie Ralph Dagnan; sons, Kenneth, Jimmy, and Jackie Dagnan, Jr,, and great-granddaughter, Leann Dagnan; two siblings.
Survivors include her children, Shirley Williams, Ruby Dagnan, Tony (Rita) Dagnan, and Shaun Francis; grandchildren, Elisha (Wess) Ryan, Christy Dagnan, Kenneth (Robin) Dagnan, April Owens, Julianne (Cory) Stapleton, Jennifer (Justin) O’Brien, Karen (Josh) Keef, Chelsea Dagnan, T.J. Dagnan, Jimmy Dagnan, Jr., and Justin Dagnan; daughter-in-law, Debra Dagnan; several great and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Friday, April 5, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Donnie Moreland officiating. Interment was in Hooker Cemetery.

JAMES HUMPHREY
James Madison Humphrey, 95, of Lookout Mountain, passed away April 5, 2024
James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, and United States Army veteran. He held the honor of being the oldest resident of the New Salem community. James dedicated many years to working for the Mocassin Bushing Co., Dade County School system, and Mark’s painting. He was a member of Mission Glen Baptist Church in Rossville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Humphrey; parents, James Humphrey and Frankie Humphrey-Shelton; brothers, Claiborn and Roy Humphrey.
Survivors include his children, James Howard (Elizabeth Jackson) Humphrey, Jim (Dede) Humphrey, Alan (Donna) Humphrey; grandchildren: Annaleigh (Jordan) Conley, Corey and James Hayes; great-grandchild: Kimber Madison Conley; extended family members.
A graveside service is today, April 10, at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., with Brother Steve Wells officiating.

MARTIN SHRADER
Martin Newell Shrader, Sr., 95, of Trenton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024.
Mr. Shrader was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Ider, Ala., to the late John L. and Malinda Blevins Shrader and was employed with Burlington Industries as a truck driver with 32 years of service. He was a member and deacon of Friendship Baptist Church, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Verdun, France during the Korean Conflict. Martin loved his Lord and his family and enjoyed camping and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Buena Luke and Louise Ivey.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Grace Castleberry Shrader; daughter, Debbie (Jr.) Daniels, Georgetown Tenn.; son, Marty (Sherry) Shrader, LaFayette; granddaughter, Lindsey Shrader, Red Bank, Tenn.; grandson, Jamison (Marla) Shrader, Woodstock; great-granddaughter, Avery Shrader; great-grandson, Lucca Shrader.
Funeral services will be today, April 10, at 2 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Renshaw officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Jamison Shrader, Gary Castleberry, Steve Bolton, George Hogan, Scott Everett, and Billy Stallings serving as pallbearers.

JEAN WILLIAMS
Jean Williams, 74, of Trenton, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024.
She was born in Evanston, Ill.,, on Sept. 26, 1949, to John and Dorine (Diehl) Williams, the youngest of three children. Jean married Roland “Blackie” Dumontet in 1977. They had one daughter before divorcing in 1980. Jean received her Registered Nurse (RN) degree in 1970 and later in life earned her Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) degrees. Her 40–year nursing career was spent in San Francisco and Visalia, Calif., before retiring to Zihuatenjo, Mexico. Jean loved scuba diving, traveling, reading, warm weather, buying things, crafting, and excelled at jewelry making. Jean loved her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Roland.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Chris Kelly) Williams; brother, John C. “Jack” Williams; sister, Jill (John) Bishop and sister-friend for 50 years, Marian Holstein. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Roland.
