Successful Board of Elections Audit

The Dade County Board of Elections held its risk-limiting audit for the presidential primary on March 20th. Risk-limiting audits ascertain that votes were counted correctly and that procedures were followed properly. Representatives from both the Dade County Republican Party and Dade County Democratic Party observed the audit. The audit’s certified results match the initial unofficial results (see the March 20th Sentinel); no errors or concerns were found.
