Ingle Appointed to GNTC Board of Directors

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) announces the appointments of Josh Ingle, Tyler Kendall, Jeff Petrea, Jessica “Missy” Puckett and Megan Talley to its Board of Directors.

Ingle has served as superintendent of Dade County Schools since 2021. His previous positions with the school system include director of Public Programs and Capital Projects, district director of Public Safety and principal of Davis Elementary School, and principal of Dade County High School.

He earned an education specialist degree and a master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Ingle has participated in various leadership initiatives, including the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement (GLISI), GLISI’s Developing High Performing Leaders at All Levels, GLISI’s Rising Stars Leadership Development program and the University of Georgia’s Early Career Principal’s Residency Program.

Selected presentations he has given include “Student Attendance Initiative” for the Student Support Team Association for Georgia Educators, “Leading for Effective School Climate” for a Georgia Department of Education conference and “Recruiting and Retaining Highly Effective Teachers” for Georgia Race to the Top, an initiative to improve K-12 education in Georgia.

Ingle is a member of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders, Professional Association of Georgia Educators and Trenton-Dade Optimist Club. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Dade County Health Department.

Ingle, Kendall, Petrea, and Talley were sworn in at the March Board of Directors meeting, Puckett will be sworn in at the May board meeting.
